Woezon' (Welcome) to Togo

Togo or The Togolese Republic is a French speaking Western African country and despite being one of the smallest country in Africa is a rewarding tourist destination. Its landscape is made of beaches along the coastline, lush green mountains, lakes and lagoons and Savannah filled with animals. Through our tours, you will have cultural experiences that can only be found in Togo because of the diversity of its population. You will meet one of the most popular tribal groups, the Tamberma. The Tamberma are in the north of the country and are known for their traditional mud tower-houses which remain their preferred style of living. The beaches, the natural attractions, the historical traditions and curious traditions and the friendliness of its people await you in Togo.

Money - Visa - Tipping

The local currency is the West African CFA (Franc CFA). It is best to travel with Euro since the Franc CFA is not available in the UK. Visa is required for UK and EU passports holders. We take away the hassle of the visa process from our clients by applying for the visa on their behalf. Tipping is expected in Togo therefore for your convenience, on our group tours, tips will be collected by your guide during the welcoming meeting. The tipping amount is between €50-100 per person for the whole duration of the tour.
