2 Days Birding Excursions  

An overnight birding excursion ensures that you are at a site of importance at the optimal times for bird watching. We can visit any birding site, but there are birding sites with other fun activities, some with marine turtle excursions. We offer overnight trips to the following sites: 
Spend the night in a tree house inside Kakum National Park, one of Ghana's rewarding birding sites. 
Enjoy an overnight excursion to the Keta Lagoon, one of Ghana's most significant sites for marine birds. Overnight on a sand bar with the ocean on one side and the lagoon on the other side. 
At the Volta River estuary, the fishing village of Ada offers a different experience for an overnight birding excursion. This experience includes cultural as well as wildlife explorations.

Shopping trips in Accra 

The 3 days activities are: 
Embark on an excursion at unique venues across the Accra metropolitan area.  
Visit the expansive market in Koforidua, capital of the Eastern Region, or the amazing bead market of Agomanya.  
Also see traditional craft markets, cloth and carvings at a number of boutiques and galleries.

Visit the International Trade Fair at La - Accra, an exhibition area where vendors from across West Africa can be found.

Akwasidae Festival 

Akwasidae festival is held in Kumasi every 6 weeks. 
Akwasidae, according to the Ashanti cultural archive records is an ornate ceremony, commemorating the date that the Ashanti Golden Stool was magically brought down from heaven. The festival therefore features a golden stool alongside the central feature of attention, the Ashanti King, who is carried on a palanquin through the procession of Ashanti people who have come to pay homage to him.  
A celebration, which parades colourful canopies and umbrellas, beautiful kente and drummers, dancers, horn blowers and singers who perform in honour of their ancestral spirits.

Ngmayem Festival 

The Ngmayem festival is a celebration of the abundant harvest of ngma (millet) every October: 
Visit to the Royal Cemetary – The Nmayem starts with this ritual. The Asafoatsemei, the king, joins the chiefs to pour libation at the Royal Mausoleum. On returning the chiefs and the king are welcomed by the community – including the women. The welcome is a serious affair and you will often find the women singing and waving clothes and branches as well as displays from the Asafoatsemei. 
Grand Durbar – This will commence on the Friday/Saturday. Here the various chiefs of the Town will be present and the Millet will be shared by the priests. There will be a number of ritual dances and Klama songs played by various groups in the community. At the end of the Durbar the chiefs will be transported to their respective homes in Grand Style. 
 
Festival goers dress in colourful attire and adorn themselves with beads.

Chale Wote Festival  

The Chale Wote is the biggest festival in West Africa that take place on the streets of James town in Accra. 
Artists, street performers, designers and photographers come from all over the world to take part in the street festival. 
 
The festival includes street painting, graffiti murals, photo exhibitions, interactive installations, a food and fashion marketplace, live street performances, extreme sports, African film shows, street boxing, a fashion parade, a music block party, recyclable design workshops and much more.
