Côte d’Ivoire  Akwaba to Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast or Côte d'Ivoire is a country blessed with rain forests and beach resorts; it is a country that always manages to capture the heart of the foreigners. It is probably because of its beaches, its peoples with their rituals and ceremonies; its beautiful sceneries or the diversity of its cuisine. Our tours will take you to the south, where the Parc National de Taï hides secrets, species and nut-cracking chimps; to the West, where the peaks and valleys of Man offer a highland climate, fresh air and fantastic hiking opportunities through tropical forests; to the centre, to be amazed by the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, the replica of St Peter Basilica in the Vatican. We will introduce you to kings of the Akan Tribe and to their households. We guarantee you that you will leave Côte d'Ivoire with a promise to yourself to come back again!!

Money - Visa - Tipping

The local currency is the West African CFA (Franc CFA). It is best to travel with Euro since the Franc CFA is not available in the UK. Visa is required for UK and EU passports holders however; we take away the hassle of the visa process from our clients by applying on their behalf. Tipping is expected in the Ivory Coast so for your convenience, on group tours these will be collected by your guide during the welcoming meeting. The tipping amount is between €50-100 per person for the whole duration of the tour.
